The RWD flip front 2.0 XE Nova that James Austin built has just turned up on the well known auction site. Looking a bit sorry for itself now with no running gear :(
now, thats been totally stripped, apart from the escort axle(which is odd).. i hope it wasn't used as a donor for a seven kitcar.

Nova rwd finds it pete
I didn't even realise Austin had parted with it..... A lot of smart fab work went into it and I'm sure it would be great for someone who wanted rwd but without a huge amount of the work involved.
Nick.
I rember looking around this at pvs 2006 now it does look very sorry for itself such a shame.

Wondered what ever happened to this car, such a waste really, it should have been kept in one piece.

Tis a shame, I didn't follow it much but didn't I hear it handled pretty badly?
Hope someone buys and fixes it up though

Looked like it should weigh a couple tonne with all the box section & extra material added.
I shot a video from PVS (2006 prolly) of James doing some doughnuts in the grass in it, no idea what happened to that video.

"IF" it didn't handle so well chances are the development of the front end wasn't taken as far as maybe it should have; no reason at all why the new owner couldn't achieve and unbelievable chassis because the shell looks fine.
If things were different for me I'ud buy that in a heartbeat. I remember him saying it was slower in a straight line, but then what can you expect with extra weight.
Someone on here please buy it & go apesh1t on it.

I would buy this aswell if I had the space but unfortunately I don't. Who ever buys it will have a cracking project.
9 days to go and it's sitting at over £700. Might go quite expensive.

We were only talking about this at retro rides the other weekend, i found it and linked it to Alex burnout bellend, imo it needs a short block v8 in it or a v tech :)
if you want info on the new shell, pm the seller on ebay!
It needs a LET lol
more like a v6 with forced induction...

Yeah lift the running gear from an S2000
There are sooo many better engines that could be fitted into that now then a GM unit.
