my car wont start please help

my nova started up earlier it ran fine for ten minutes jet washed it then it wouldnt start . it runs but only then cuts out after a few seconds a mate said it could be airflow meter/lambda sensor not sure as to what it could be any advice im running a corsa b 1.6 sport engine cheers ben

You've probably got water over the electrics, earths or somewhere that draws in air such as the air filter.

Give it time to dry out and try again but also take your spark plugs out to check them because trying to start it all the time will have been sending fuel through all the time and without a good spark they'll be fouled.

its dry under the bonnet only gave bottom half of car good blast with power wash, do you think sensors ie air sensor could have gone would this stop the car from running?
