Hi folks,

A friend has just built a turbo nova and he is now looking to change the rear windows so its like a van, can panels still be bought new? Does anyone have a list of any other parts he would need?

Also is it just a case of removing the glass, rubber etc and bonding a panel in?

Thanks:thumb:

David.

well, to do it correctly, yes it needs steel panels fitting, and rear seats removing then a floor/bulkhead panel put in their place, followed by altering the body type on the v5 & posting it off...

My gsi looks like a van, limo tints on a black car ftw lol

ive seen rear windows covered with 1.5mm tin sheet with a few welds and sealed up then painted

It's for Darryl's nova bazil. That's two he has built in the last few months.
He has Donald's old mk3 Astra let with anti-lag.

Can the panels still be sourced mowgli?

i doubt it new.

the window ones would be fairly easy to make, but the floor one would be a lucky scrapyard find.

What's the point in making it into a van?

Hey southie, I'm not sure he just sent me a text the other night asking what was involved for him to do it and if parts were available.

I know a lad selling a novavan with a 17td in. It's good and tidy. In Yorkshire though sadly

You just need the rear panels for the windows.... Not easy to find items tho.

There is a panel behind the seats as well which stops stuff in the back of the van coming forward but I expect that's going to be hard to find as well. My van was missing it so I made my own from MDF

Nova van bulkhead fits into a Corsa B. Therefore you'd assume a Corsa B bulkhead would fit into a Nova.

When I scrapped my van pictured on page1 here, I removed an sold the van panels, and fitted the bulkhead into a 1.0 12v Corsa B. Fitted absoloutly fine. Even used the OEM metal brackets, turned them around & they bolted into the Corsa b pillars.
