Hi all, have a lil problem i need help with if anyone can help pls, i have just fitted new suspension on my nova gsi, drivers side front is good, if i spin the passenger front wheel its making a lot of clunking noises, and is quit tight, im thinking the drive shaft joint it knackered in gear box, anyone got any ideas? Thanks

what sort of suspension did you fit? people have had wheels hit coilovers before.

Im not sure of make, wheel clearance is ok, nothing rubbing etc, ive had to keep an eye on that as fitted vectra v6 calipers and discs at same time, the resistance and noise defo coming from drive shaft, mainly joint at gear box, was fine before suspension was fitted

The obvious plan of action is to remove the eintire shaft & inspect the inner CV joint.

Thanks all, are there any special tools needed to remove the shaft?

Nope just a quick pull with a pry bar where the shaft goes into the gearbox. Make sure you have something to catch the oil with though lol
