I like them as cars, but if i wanted one it would have to be a H reg one, would have to be less than 60k miles, would need to be bog standard and prefferably one owner- looks like i will never own one.

They are ace cars to drive but very unreliable

Get yer money out mate. They will cost loads 2 run. Not many cars can shed parts like a Nova can and yet still run satisfactory. A friend of mine has a 200bhp Raider model. It destroys top mounts, wheel bearings bottom arm bushes, alternators etc not to mention the fact its blown up 3 times in less than a year. Dunno where yer from but specialists are thin on the ground too. Buy one at your peril!

There is an oldish guy in the village who owns a H reg White one that is standard except a nice set of alloys.

Have spoke to him and he has my number adn when comes to selling it i will get first refusal, i have seen this car its entire life as ui used to do my paperound up his road.

The last time i spoke to him it had done 55k miles, he has had everythin changed on time and to the button by renault.

I'm getting my dad's R5 Turbo to run about in next month while the Nova is off the road. It has done 40,000 miles, is totally standard and has been in Jersey all its life and therefore has very little rust as no salt on the roads over there.

Suppose it could be worth summat when I come to sell it?
