May not be the ice section but still electrical!!

So I'm trying to fit a retro philips cassette radio into my nova which has not had a stereo in since I've owned it. The only wiring available in the car is an earth and the ariel.

This is the stereo..

Then I managed to get this original vauxhall nova iso plug for it. The wires have some descriptions on them. I know the small black and brown plugs go into the stereo.
The other end of the black plug has wires listed as and go into the larger black plug:

Brown = masse
Red = 30
Grey/green = light
Black/white = antenne
Red/blue = aut lautst

The wires from the brown plug have wires listed as:
White = right rear
Black = right front
Green = left rear
Red = left front
Black = 15

From my old nova I managed to save the front speaker wire, which is front left and right with one plug as pictured below.

So a few questions as I can't find my green Haynes manual. I know the speaker wires are on the brown plug but the plug I have from my old speaker wire will only go into one of the sockets. Does that matter or do I connect the front left and right cables together on my new cables then plug it into one?

With my bigger black plug, as there's nothing on the car to plug it into do I need to link the other ends to wires already on the car? If so what are they all?

Thanks for any help

Richard

Richard, I have a complete standard stereo loom for sale if that helps, it plugs into fuse box and then straight into back of stereo.
