digidash illumination dimmer

fitted a digidash, on the wiring guide it mentions an illumination dimmer when i bought the clocks they didnt come with the one out the astra could i just wire up a rheostat would that work??? if so what type a maplin code would be nice!

the dimmer isnt a resistor as in some cars, all it does it make the dash darker when your lights are on.


Just connect it to the headlight warning indicator.... or leave it off and the dash will be bright all the time like mine is!

Grey/Green (Grey/Black) Dashboard brightness rheostat
Grey/Green Illumination (relay)
