i have a nasty noise from my clutch when i first start my novavan it's been there since i got it but its never been this loud. i'm putting down to the clutch release bearing as it goes away when i push the clutch.
i think my gearbox might be a f13? because its got the inspection panel under the clutch for the easy clutch change. i'm thinking of changing the clutch sometime soon (obviously dependant on wear) but instead of getting a full clutch kit just for the release bearing does anyone know if i could use my old but good rb from my f18 or would it be a different size?

and when changing the rb can it be done through the inspection panel? or is it a gearbox off job as it would be with any other gearbox?

I didn't think the f13 casings had that plate I thought it was the f10 4speeds? F18 will be bigger? As that's a big block gearbox and f13 is small block I'd change complete clutch kit not just release bearing

the only reason i'm thinking of just doing the release bearing is that i have no slip from the clutch just the noise obviously if when i take a look the clutch is close to dead it'll be changed.
think its the f13 might be something else but i had the same box on my mk3 astra 1.4 8v merit on a k reg and my novavan has the same inspection panel for the clutch that allows it to be changed without removing the gearbox
