Iam wanting to put a diagonistic plug on my nova c20let, I've read it should be on the let engine loom near the ecu plug but looks like its been snipped out. Is it just a case of finding another plug and soldering it in. Also iam wanting to wire.my engine light up what colour on.the let loom is it thanks ??

Asked about this not long ago.

The actual plug on the let was in engine bay. And ECU is in footwell
You will not need the plug. (You only need one pin) single wire)
All the other pins where for testing things like abs,air bags,4x4 etc so not needed

Take the yellow\brown on the diagnostic plug to earth to get codes.

There really isnt any point. Novas done have any of the sensors or anything to use it. As above, find the brown/yellow by the ecu, run it thru a switch to a ground, then all you do is flick the switch to flash the codes out.

What's this like to do on a corsa but with an Xe? I already have a diagnostic plug, sorry for asking on your thread but it saves starting another lol

All it will do is flash the codes. Oh a Corsa might tell you outside temp...
