Howdy,

Anyone had any experience of these. One for sale locally. Looks standard - in white. 4 owners 79k with long test and tax.

Insurance isn't the cheapest compared to a nova..coming in at 250 quid lol

Body looks clean and has the c14se in it.

Take it they rust in the usual nova places.

Looking for 900, I think 750 which might be strong money even at that.

I like the Sri and they are getting vey rare, so an unmolested standard car in good shape is quite a find. Rot in all the usual places! B pillars crack at bottom of window, rear spring seat rot etc. No abs, or airbags to worry about though. Corsa GSI is another rare beast too.

Yea I had one for a good few years as faker says check all the usual places. I havnt seen an Sri in ages every corsa you see is a sport or a 1.0 lol

I'd be aiming more towards 500 tbh. End of the day its a 20 year old nothing special corsa. And the 8v version at that.

front chassis rails, arches, boot floor, rear panel, rear splashguards are usually bad, front crossmember. all places ive noticed any rusting.

Cheers, think I'll give it a miss and stick with my Novas. On the hunt for a new house with dbl garage - finally some space :)
