View Full Version : Update on project J348HSK
I have now removed the engine and gearbox, fortunately I had more or less removed the crossmember etc so it took 10 minutes, all the more impressive when I used no tools, not even a grinder to release the engine mounts...........
I will accept a reasonable offer for the shell, there is a tiny bit of surface rust at the bottom of the doors but otherwise just age related marks.

Will you be shot blasting it?
I suppose you would only need a trailer to deliver - a carrier bag would suffice for the return trip :-)

The loss of weight of this Nova would be ideal for a track car IMO.

It looks like it may have started :-)
Has it been visiting Titanic perhaps on extended visits to become so "holy"?

Just a standard mk2 lol
It has lain there for 6 years but although it looked good 6 years ao, the reason it was left to be slowly stripped is because the front panel/turrets and so on were rotten, as I said, typical Mk2!
Although my dad thought 2 years ago it would be worthwhile rebuilding, I was taken to hospital with a split side from laughing so much.

I think it's pretty much there lol
When the scrap man comes to get the shell he is for a major disspointment for the lack of metal
Needs a set of speedlines to finish it off.

I agree. that tiny patch of remaining paint would look great when polished.
I have been working on the car, what do you think?
