Loved the first one, second one had its moments, went downhill after that. Its kind of the way with the French made/directed action films, they can't seem to get the sequels right, like The Transporter series, first one is brilliant, second ok, third one didn't even compare.

I have never seen the Queen Latifa on out of principal.

Not sure I have even seen Taxi 3. 1 & 2 are decent enough though, for what they are.
Plus you see his lovely gf's bush, and some TSW Imola's. Can't be bad. lol

Just watched number 4. I dont normally like spoof films but I like these

the original one on dvd was dubbed into english by porn movie translators as far as i can tell...

i watched it in french with subtitles & enjoyed it way more...

the cobblers with the suspension moving & the steering wheel was a bit inspector gadget, but the first film was ok.

Never knew the first was redubbed. I've only ever seen it in French (on DVD or on tv)

well, the copy i have has it & its terrible in english... they certainly weren't profession translators... more like bits of old sweeney sound clips stuck together

Nah! Was a motorbike soundtrack iirc.

I agree the dubbed one is poor. At least it rid the streets of a few pugs lol. I wonder how many were destroyed? They get through loads of police cars every film

Taxi 1 is awesome, gotta be subtitled though.

Tbh you dont need the subtitles, they just get in the way. You can get the gist enough.
