My 1.4sr got 130bhp at the flywheel :D , and Dave J got 115bhp. Rob26 got an impressive 65bhp out of his 1.2.
Most important thing is that my Ebony got inside my missus` clothes! (well her coat anyway).

well i managed a whopping 140bhp out of a 1.6, but hey, it was an s+n designed engine, built by me and slick, in my garage, unlike all the 2litre boys who got their daddies money and sent them away to be done, coz theyre all scared of spanners and oil. all you lot, especially that geezer with the bat motorsport jobbie are missing out on the fun of creating something, then having the guy at the rolling road say it had 140bhp and one of the strongest engines there on the day, well with the exception of mark from m+d, coz me and slick thought ur 1.4 on 40's was da boy, well done with the 130 mate, well impressed. same goes to mr rob, nice tidy car, done it himself, thats the way it should be done, all hard earned cash instead of "daddy, buy me a 2litre engine for my nova?"
thanx to lee hyde aswell for the top day out mate, well enjoyed it, top organizing there r kid, and a nice car aswell

Thanks for the complement mate, I`m blushing now! I`ve already been out changing things and takin skin off my knuckles, Doh! :D I think everybody put on a good show, especialy us smaller cc boys showin that you can have fun in anything (apart from a Ford). The one that caught my eye was the light mint green 2.0 16V. I just love the light weight stripped out approach, so much so that I`m gonna go out and take all my carpets and trim of now aswell the already removed seats! ;)

Come on lads,as my mum would say: we all had a good day, now don`t spoil it! Everybody did well, and Idon`t think anybody was disapointed with there perpormance no matter how they went about it. Us Nova lads have got to stick together coz we get enough stick from everywhere else! :(

I got 80BHP at the wheels in my 1.4SR. The only mods it had for the day was a full stainless steel exhaust, so according to the standard performance figures, that exhaust is giving me around an extra 8BHP, which I'm pretty chuffed about. Oh, MC, I'll be in touch very soon about the twin webbers. Cheers for all the advice! ;)

I managed to pull 127bhp at the fluywheel with a stainless system, K&N, Mafco pro leads. 102 BHP at the wheels, quite chuffed.

yamyamleader, For your information the Black 2.0L Nova at the rolling road session belongs to me, and all the work was done by myself and some mates. The engine conversion was orginally carried out by a so-called professional company who did a shit job (not courtney). This as since been sorted by me and my mates, only cause I ain't got a garage, welder or engine lift, and the near on ?15K spent on it as come from my own cash!!!! Not Daddies money or bank Loans/Student Loans!!!! So what if other people can?t be arsed to do work on there car?s themselves, Not everyone is Mechanically minded!!!

so stop being an arse.we didnt slag ur car down did we?but seems they all might now..
how come u didnt point this fact out at the rolling road? im sure ian andy and myself would have been happy to answer ur daddys moneys questions..!

Temper, temper girls. I didn't go cause I built mine myself then promptly blew it to bits myself on thursday night...oopps!
What pissed me off the most was having to watch a vid of the bird and not having a look in the flesh doh!
So when is there going to be a full list of the figures then?

How come everyone else can get 190+bhp from there valver and I can't? I want full tech specs cause I would be looking at three grand rebuild on throttle bodies for that!
Not taking sides but yamyams car was built on his drive in the rain and cold with out a mig, crane, lift etc the 'ickle garage he speaks of is full of shit/bits and my fag stumps he kicks the bums of valver novas (didn't beleive him till I saw it at crail 1/4 mile) and working in the bodywork trade I can put my hand on my heart and say there is nothing wrong with his respray.
I must on the other hand agree that he aint the best looking of chaps (bless) but hey who's perfect?(apart from me) He also has some dodgy stuff growing out his chin but all in all he is a nice lad.

Remember the ark was built on the drive. The Titanic was built by courtney. Well you get the idea.

Jimbo (Sitting back waiting for the onslaught of never ending abuse that he always gets when yamyam opens his gob)

Why do people slag off other peoples cars? Alright you might not like them, but theirs no need to go mouthing off. People who have the money but cant be arsed passing there f**king tests are the biggest laziest losers around!
