I think (hope) its my rev counter playing up and nothin else, whenever i accelerate and chnage gear the rev counter goes up and down like a yo yo, usually when im in fourth gear doing about 30 the rev gauge is at 2000 approx but now its just at 1000, also at idle the rev gauge is on zero.

Is it just the rev gauge or could it be something worse. If it is ive got a digidash i need to fit so would that cure the problem?

Thanks

If the car is running well, then it sounds like a dial fault.

think it was the gauge cuz i went to my local scrappy and got a new set for 2quid and that 1 works fine. :)

my revs stick, i'd be sat at traffic lights at 1k and all of sudden it would start 2 rev to 2 or maybe 3k i stomp on the accelerator and it usualy goes down?

the car itself is fine, its just the rev dial going up and down and is all over the place in general but the car does not rev.
