Which alternator will fit an Xe?

Morning lads. Last night my alternator earth snapped and started arcing. So I put a new earth on but it's not sharing my battery now,

So a quick question is,

Which alternator will fit my c20xe?
Will a 2.0 8v fit?
Or ecotec?

8v yes, eco will be a wide belt, so you dont want that.

Can I change the pulley to my single v one?

I think that the bar thru the middle is alot longer, plus the fan bit is on the inside, so you might have probs with spacing and such.
