Been on the waiting list for about 1 yr for a lock up and 2 came up at once :)

I took on the one from an old couple in a good area they have 5 lock ups at the side of there garden

I keep my nova in my mums garage joined onto there house which Is good but damp so now I have got one round the corner from my house

It's not as secure as my mums cause I have loads of locks and a big bar across door from inside and then exit by going thru the house

I haven't decided if I should put my nova in new lock up or put my motorbike in it cause its just got an original standard lock on it and its brand new garage door and can't add additional locks only thing I could do is put a wee alarm in it

Anyone got in good suggestions for additional security?

Cheers

You can get a thing that bolts to the floor if they will let u drill it screwfix sell them, like a t bar to stop up and over doors but also works on rebated wooden doors what type of door is it

A metal up and over door mate, All the floor in garage is concrete but as soon as you step out garage it's like chip stones so nowhere to drill to floor (don't think the old couple would be keen either mate)

It bolts inside to the slab otherwise u could just undo it and get in u can bolt it to a steel plate across the floor the full width of the garage so when u fit the t bar it's conected to the bar, like a brace in front like u said, that way not fixing to anything of the new garage, I had similar problem when I had units as the more u security u fitted the more they broke in so hid it all

I've got a wee alarm fitted in mines, door contact if the door is burst open and a pir as well just incase, was about 60quid from screwfix, comes with everything u need and a wee fob to set and disarm it, was really easy to fit as well mate and you don't need to drill anything
