Am I right in saying that carb model novas were not fitted with fuel filters? If so exactly where have you guys fitted one? My mate that has a mint mk1 escort gave me this one today.

I think I know where I should fit it. But what clips/jubilee clips did you use? Some pics please ;)

This filter can be taken apart and the clear part is glass. Is this the kind of filter you guys would use and does it need tied or a bracket made for it? Also it says 1/4" on it. I take it that is the fuel pipe size and will this fit my nova?

It looks nice but unfortunately you'll most likely find your car won't like it as I've tried doing similar to mine and it wouldn't run as I think it alters the fuel pressure to much

Place it on fuel pipe between fuel pump and carb inlet; I usually run an inline filter and have never had an issue to date with them.

Put it in the line from the tank to the pump. That way you stop crap from getting into the whole system and not just the carb

I've got my filter before my pump on my 1.3

I have one of thoise filters on my 1.4, I have put it between the tank and pump. I also use the cheap plastic filters on carb models just before the mechanical pump.
