i'm running a new ignition live from the barrel to the starter on my car and was wondering what size of fuse i should put on it?

its not listed, so i guess its just wired direct. the solenoid itself doesn't draw much current.. i reckon you should try a 10a & be prepared to put a bigger one in if it blows.

a lot of later stuff has a relay between the switch & the solenoid, maybe think about that. i fitted a std £2 car relay on a 150hp case tractor to get it going in a hurry & it worked fine for several years

Yer, there is a fair bit of power through some ignition lives plus it also depends on the ampage that the wiring hes using can handle

starter solenoid circuits are not massive power though. i reckon 10a will be ok.
