insurance question ??

I have just insured my nova has a 2.0l my insurance wants copy's of the following >>>>
log book v5 ??? why
Modification report ??? why and what is this
mileage report ?? why

Have you never insured a car before?? lol
Log book to prove engine conversion (its against the law not to declare it)
Mod report - so they know what mods it has!!
Mileage - so they know hoe many miles youve done (limited mileage etc)

Logbook is a new one on me actually, but mods report will tell them what modifications have been done to the car to prove the insurance cover is correct, and the mileage report in order for them to check you haven't exceeded your insured mileage.

they send you a mod sheet to fill in.return it with the other requested info.
Don't usually have to send log book so that is new

Only thing I've ever been asked to send off was a copy of my license and ncd.

Who was the insurer?

Log book is a new one on me, surely they can just check from the DVLA? Too easy to forge a copy and send to them IMO

But if you did that insurance is void you won't get a refund or a pay out so insurance company wins all ways
