1.3 sumps

Hi Ive got a 1.3 sb I've tried to put my Edwards exhaust on and it keep hittin the sump before reaching the manifold I have been told to put a 1400 exhaust manifold on and I have done and it is close but is a little bit away and I measured the sump on it to another sump on a 1400 and the sump on my 1300 is longer then on the 1400 can you change sumps on the 1300 engine

I never knew the were different.

They should all fit but you may need to change the oil pick up pipe with each sump like you do the 16V blocks.

The 1400/1600 manifolds are longer for sure. Also I think some Astra 1300 manifolds are longer which would allow the exhaust to fit. It's the exhaust manifold u need to change not the sump.

Yup Gary is right pal there's 2 different length manifolds in sure Simpson did 2 different down pipes for this Edwards must do aswell? The astra mani gives slightly better flow
