Hi all, I would like to offer someone a couple of days work.

I'm looking at doing an engine conversion but my knowledge alone isn't enough to complete the whole thing.

And it would be a great chance to meet somebody off here.

I need someone who can remove and fit a new engine to a competent level.
Someone who is fairly local to me and who would have sufficient tools, I have most required but am probably missing some.

I will pay in cash and tea/biscuits included.

If you know someone who may be Interested please pass on the word.

Thanks

Good luck with that. Sounds like an honest appeal and most people on here like to help out anyway. Hope it goes well

the 3 door hatch gsi tank won't fit your saloon. You need to find an spi 5door hatch/4door saloon tank, and fit a mpi internal pump.

Or keep your standard tank, fit an external pump and swirl pot.
Decent tanks are hard to find these days.

Where would be the best place for the swirl pot? And what pump?

nova gte pump.
Swirl pots are on ebay.
I actually ran my 2.0 without a swirl pot using a 1.2 carb tank and gte pump. Its fine until you get to 1/4 tank and below when taking left hand bends fast...

Drive shafts should be fine, unless 1lt are different.
