bonnet cable broken

Hi my bonnet cable has broken on my nova how can I now open bonnet with cable broken? Thanks dan

On my mk1 I can remove the bumper and get up to the cable at the latch to use a pair of pliars on it. Not sure if it can be done on the Mk2 though.
