It's just I am running carbs and always been told you don't want to much heat on carbs so I throught while its hot keep it as cool as I can

The air moving in will have the ram effect so they will be fine, so long as you don't ahve a filter set on winter setting (1.0 only)

People think painting bolt heads and fitting Redbull cans as catch tins is cool. Would that help?

just run a cold air duct from the rhs of the rad to near the carbs.

Exhaust heat wrap can help keep the engine bay heat down and try to feed cold air from outside the engine bay direct to the carbs.
