c16se cuts out

Recently bought a nova and has a c16se engine fit and its cuts out when it comes to a halt, any ideas of what this could be and how to resolve it?

it needs its tickover adjusting?
it needs its mixture altering?
new spark plugs?
injectors not supplying enough fuel?

check the battery and alternator.

Im sure ive had this before but cant remember why.
