x16xe inlets

my mate is thinking of buying an upgraded inlet manifold for his 16xe. been looking at the opd ones on the bay has any tried 1 of these before thanks

I had one of the ali vx racing something or other manifolds from ebay. It was much more monies than that OPD one, so yours looks like a good deal. However, mine came with the blanking plate and gaskets. I think I'd rather have the stainless OPD one though.
Just to let you know, I have the inlet and a 4-1 exhaust manifold on my x16xe and had to get the fueling tweaked afterwards using a adjustable fuel pressure regulator to get the most out of the mods. I also had to do a bit of drilling/milling on the throttle body bolt holes to get it to fit onto the new manifold.

cheers mate. he had a vx parts 1 on his old sport and it worked and was made well but just thought with this 1 being cheaper it might be worth trying. just worried they might not be made as good or work as well

Ive got the ally vx 16v one but i got it 2nd hand and jts spot on
