Drivers side sound proofing damp :(

Hi guys took my carpet and sound proofing out and they were damp on the drivers side come back to it today and there's a fooking massive puddle in the drivers floor

This can only mean battery tray right ?? :(

Door membrane, windscreen seal, sunroof drain, battery tray etc etc. Get a hose on it and see where it comes in

Could be the screen though because left it over night and yes I suppose there was a storm but the puddle was huge lol

I had this on an old SR of mine, it was a hole in the battery tray and water seeped down the bulkhead into the footwell... Plenty of welding was involved... You maybe lucky though.

Grrrr not more welding hahaha just done both the sills which was a ball ache ahhaha

Usually the battery tray or immediately below it. hose it with loads of water then look inside to trace where it starts, perhaps remove the carperr and soundproofing first.

Turns out its the inner wing where it meets the bulkhead and has rotten hole through the bulkhead a little bit :(
