Or is there any other options?
The car needs a front pannel and a few other little bits welding do I do this before or after?
Can any1 tell me wheres best to get either done with a ruff price

Just fed up of removing the wax oil spent a few hours doin the engine bay and still got undrrneath to do so looking at other oprions

It's over a grand to have a car dipped and E-Coated, I think.

Don't do that though.

The acid dip my evo was 900, to E-coat was 1400. Far cheaper too blast.

Cool. Noone better to advise, than someone who has used the service.

Did you not encounter any future issues with solution weaping from the box sections etc?

Just got a quote to sand blast the whole car 200/300 think am giin to get that done has any one haf any problems with this

Get it media blasted. Not as harsh as sand blasting but will cost a little more!

Nah no problems, they literally strung it up with metal wire for the dipping, then without actually seeing it in the air, left coating to run off and dry. Its good as don't have problems with stretching panels such as roof skins like you can with blasting, but depends on media they use, how close they blast too etc.

Be aware that blasting won't remove all underseal though.

Get some poly abrasive pads and a grinder. Awesome things, wont damage clean metal but removes paint and underseal really well and much quicker than a wire wheel.
