I got my lump in the car today without to many dramers.

But what/ how have people plumed up the AFM and top rad hose? They want to cross each other in the Calibra. But how do people set it up in the nova?

And the water hose from the turbo to the bottle? It naturally wants to head towards the battery. Do you extend it around back of bay to the header tank on other side? Or something else??

And am I right in saying the 2 blue wires in pic (on nova loom) want to run to the oil pressure sensor on let??

Blue with green trace
Blue with yellow trace both to oil sender?

Black with red trace to starter?

Then I have
Blue with white trace
Black with yellow trace
Solid blue

Where do these go???

And the clutch pedal sits realy high. I used the Calibra clutch cable because they looked the same (other than Calibra one looked in better nick)

Is there anything specific I was meant to do or change?

In reference to the clutch pedal try slackening off the cable, as over tensioning it often pulls up the pedal and causes it to sit high.

Usually I think the clutch pedal hole in the bulkhead needs to be "adjusted" to allow the cable to run freely. If you look in the guide to XE/LET conversions in the how to section it is probably better explained than I can!

Looking great by the way!

Afm pipe and rad pipe is a bit tight, i modified the ali part of the turbo where it connects so the angle allows the rad pipe to run over the top, saves cutting up half the crossmember too

In ref to clutch cable. I did stick a bar in it and bent it down and to the side.

How did you modifie the turbo inlet? Weld new angle? Cut it down?

I cut it off, then chopped a bit out to change the angle then welded it back up. Also the blue and white wire goes to the alternator. And when i fit clutch cables, theres an extr piece i chop out so the end sits closer to the bulkhead

That sounds like what's needed. Thanks!
And for pics and other info!

Can you confirm the other 2 blue wires are for oil sender and black/red to alt ?

Black red should be starter, and the others i think go to sender, but depends what engine and clocks you have i think.

Clutch cable should still be a Nova one. You adjust it by moving the black plastic stopper on the arm it's self.

The blue wire with the round push on crimp is oil pressure.

Next one I'm stuck with.

I know the 2 wires on left of pic are for coil and hall sensor

I don't think I need to 2 on right. (Or do I)

But the one (single wire) at top of pic. I think it's a switched ignition live. ???
What's best to connect it to??

2 on the right are 1st gear and reverse gear, i havent connected either. The single 1 is a ignition live. I ran mine to the best ignition i could find in the cabin but if your on standard car loom then im sure there should ve 1 floating around for the old coil?

Ah, 1st and reverse.
The first is because there is a boost cut function on let's (now remembering )
But isn't the reverse one the one that puts rear lights on (reverse lights)
I plugged the original nova one back into f20??

Yes I have the old coil plug nr there. 3 wires. One green (tachometer) and one black, one brown. Is it ok to connect to one of these?? Or should I run wire back to ignition barrel??

Yea you should be good to use the black wire thats there. Theres a boost limiter for reverse too. Im running a manual boost controller so none of its needed on mine. If your running the anus valve then you might need to bridge the wires?

The amal valve needs to be plugged in. First gear boost can be joined tho.
