Competition rear engine mount problem

Has anyone had issues when fitting a competition rear engine mount? i have a c20let fitted with an f20 gearbox, but when changing the mount ive had to space the gearbox 17mm to get the mount bracket to line up with the engine mount itself????? before the m-tech 12mm spacer was fine

this has caused issues with the gear linkage,
