Fitting a cavalier internal shifter ??

Hi guys there's a cav in my local scrappy so I am going have the shifter out of it I was going take the whole thing up to the u.j that goes into the gearbox

Is that right and then it would be a straight forward swap apart from some metal fab lol

The Cav internal shifter still uses the Nova gear linkage mechanism.

So take the shifter, the plastic housing and the rod that goes through the firewall. Then read the article on here how to fit it.

If it's road car don't bother, if it's a track car then do it along with rose joint linkage and quick shift repositioning mods.

Thanks hobbit it didn't come up on my phone just kept bringing up people's projects. And it is a road car but driven very aggressively sometimes and the normal nova shifter is a bit **** hahahaha

Standard nova shifter with a RJ linkage works miles better than just a cav shifter. Just rj your standard linkage imo. My cav internal shifter has been a ball ache from day one

I take it you just join the cavalier shifter to the mechanism then ??

And Adam could you post me a link because abit iffy about this cav one because its just going to exposed :/
