Mk1 fitting rev counter clocks

I plan on fitting mk 1 rev counter clocks to my mk1 1.2 8 v just seeing if its a simple exchange or what's involved to get the rev counter working

check you a lime green wire in your speedo wiring then it should work if not all you have to do is run a wire from the coil to the rev counter

Do you have a green wire coming out of your coil? If not you have to run a wire from there with a spade connector on each end, one for behind the rev counter on the clocks and one for the availible connetor on the coil and it should work
