Blue/grey it is for his chassis number, all SR/SRI/GTE/GSI had grey coloured vinyl but it has a few different shades depending on the chassis number range,

I've fitted them before....

Make sure panel is clean, not waxed though, clean it with panel wipe etc, make sure its not freezing cold either, but that's unlikely given the time of year. Next bit spinds bizzare but you need to trust me! lol Then you'll need Warm water with a slight bit of soap, fairy liquid etc in a squirty bottle, squirt the panel with it lightly. Then slowly unpeal the vinyl and squirt it with the water as well as you peal the backing off. Then offer up the vinyl to the clean wet tailgate, make sure it level and your happy with the position of it, then starting at the middle where the reg plate is use a debit card, or your card driving licence to slowly work the water out, be patient and slow with a light amount of pressure gradually do the full vinyl and work to the edge. Then should do the trick. When you get to the edge just a small amount of heat to work the vinyl around the corners and help stretch it when it cools it will hold the shape. Also worth goinf back ove the vinyl a second time use a small amount of heat and a card again but be careful not to heat it up to much and rip it with the card.

Hope this helps

I'm glad, dan does great things, he's going to come and copy all the original decals, including the door pillars,Gsi door decals and the rear vauxhall sticker that also goes on the boot,,hopefully this will come in handy for some more members ;)
