what size are people using and how much do i need to do the drivers seat?
Thanks
well, what seats are you planning to fit??
usually 1" box section is strong enough, but we aren't psychic.
atleast 3mm wall thickness too imo

Do people drill holes through the floor and bolt it that way?

I used 25mm box with a 1.6mm wall. Half the weight.
Then just sleeve the M10 bolt holes with a 12mm (ID 10mm x 1mm) tube to prevent crushing.

Oh, and you will need just over 2m. Each run is around 500mm, that's with 3mm spreader plates and cutting with a 1mm blade.
