on the sr the linkage doesnt return most of the time so idles at 3000 rpm,

so to the point has anyone got any pictures of a extra return spring in place just to pull the throttle back.

the spring on the back of your throttle pedal hasn't come out has it ? or cable catching ?

Thats what i was looking for but already made up something similiar

I've got a return spring fitted to my weber. The garage that fitted it attached it to a home made bracket that went to the back of the throttle linkage. The bracket is attached to one if the inlet nuts I think. May have pics in my project page.

thats what i did just out a longer bolt with a nut on it where a screw was

Mine is pretty straight tho, not sticking up in the air. It may make a difference.

yeah, better forces I woulda thought... pulling it horizontal, in its opposing direction, instead of partially vertical. might be worth re-modding sometime in the future

well mine does the job i want it to any its at more of angle than that any way as that spring made my accerator pedal ato heavy so i have a shorter one thats alright
