9mm spanner size iirc, but i can't remember the thread size.

just get new cylinders, they aren't expensive, and it sounds like they need swapping anyway

Last wheel cylinders I bought were only about £8 for the pair from the motorfactors we use at work. They were Delphi ones as well.
