I've got a problem my let engine dropped most of the coolant on the floor the other day from somewhere around the back of the inlet so I've removed it thinking it was cracked but carnt find a crack. It's got me baffled apart from the inlet gasket failing what else could it be? I've checked the hoses aswell.

Id be interested on this as my xe has done the same a number of times. Only drops the coolant when its hot and after the engine is switched off. Comes from under the inlet but all pipes and gaskets have been checked

It will be the 3 way water pipe, the plastic pipe that runs around the back of the block or your matrix hoses

^ on the join in the pipes... Replace it with a nice silicone one. They are much better made.

It's not the three way pipe I've had it off no splits core plugs look good iam thinking it must of been the gasket that failed.

The spilt can be very small but still let water out... Can you pressure test it while off?

I looked it over throughout looking for tiny splits couldn't find any don't know what else it could be.
