Hi All,
Have a couple of items to selling, only selling due to wanting to upgrade:
Rare 1300 8v Sport engine. Was fully stripped down and rebuild last year (only completed at the beginning of september).
It has had full rebuilt with new bears, seals, gaskets, piston rings, oil and water pump.
The bottom end has been balanced and has ARP Rod bolts. The pistons are pocketed to take the larger valves this engine has.
It has also been ported and polished, has an AST 2 cam in it (only a mild road cam but pulls really well), it is also running uprated valve springs.
The engine has the rocker cover with oil breather on it (which has been painted blue)
The engine runs on twin 40s (rebuilt August) and has an irmscher inlet manifold. The engine also has custom made exhaust manifold which has been heat wrapped (built 2011).
The car has been rolling roaded and run in, so will just need to be put in and turned on.
The engine will come with inlet manifold, twin 40 carbs, exhaust manifold, Omex rev limiter. Can also supply coil to the engine.
Engine has claimed two third in class awards, hasnt been revved over 7000 and has the oil changed every 50 miles!
£875 ono, engine rebuild alone came to just over a grand!! Can be heard running if required - upto the next few days until we start to take things out of the car!!
Next up is a Quaife F13 straight cut, close ratio gear box. All working perfectly ok. Has covered less than 1000 miles.
Will also supply GSI shafts for the complete kit. The shafts have been refurbished in 2011 and covered around 200 miles.
I would be looking for £1100 ono.
Will accept sensible offers on these items but nothing stupid. Still in car so will can be heard working. Again only selling as upgrade, currently in talks to purchase new engine and gearbox
