clutch advice
Hi,

Ive just been pulling all my new engine bits out of storage ready for when the new lump goes in next week but Ive some how broken my new clutch plate whilst it was stored (somethibg heavy stored on top of it)

Im after advise on the best budget clutch as funds are tight but want to get it all together.

Going to be running a 1.6 8v which is running about 150bhp on an f16 gearbox.

I know you get what you pay for but has anyone got any reckonmendations for what budget clutch will do the job?

Cheers

Gary

Standard GM spec clutch should be fine. Can't remember what brand they are but only about 55quid for full kit

£55 sounds reasonable. Going to see the motorfactors tomorrow and see what they can offer. It was a new luk one I got with the engine so might see how much they are.

Thats the brand I was trying to think of lol thats the clutch I used on a 140bhp C16XE....It worked out about £57 after 10% discount from Autovaux

Im not 100% sure. Bought the box about 2 years ago as it was rebuild and the ratios shortened.

They offer discount to PNG Club Members (well you have to ask for it usually)
