so just how far do you lot travel to work, I started off looking for jobs within a 20 odd mile radius but that's not got me anything so far (apart from one job that turned out to be ****!)

so I have started looking at jobs about 50miles from my home to find something! and I have to be picky as its probably going to cost me over a ton a week in fuel going that far

[edit] Before I moved it would have been a 100 mile round trip :tard:

Work is just down the road, then use company van to drive 2 hours to site. Get paid for the drive to site so doesn't really count.

37 miles each way when I was commuting to uni, and atm anywhere over 50-60 miles on a pretty straight run up the M40 is going to mean renting a place I can cycle from, or spending very little on fuel is cheaper.

When i was on my motorbike i once gauged it and the outcome was 1.1 miles but that was taking a shortcut down a mudtrack which in a car with very little ground clearance is hard to do so now takes me about 1.3 miles, i should really walk but when its the end of the day i just wanna get home as fast as i can especially on a friday.

Used to do 80 miles a day, then dropped to 45 and then another drop to 40miles.
I am a wrongun and quite enjoyed the commute time in the car. Its gonna be a massive shock to not drive much and catch the train in future.

Depending on which way I go its either 35 mile or 37 each way. In rush hour M6 traffic or a HGV infested A5.

Saturdays only take about half hour to get in. Weekdays regulary take upto hour an half. Once it took me nearly 4 hours lol
