D450 WVH back on the road again

Hey all,

after 3 years my project nova was finally ready for its MOT today, and it passed with just 1 advisory slight play in N/S/R wheel bearing i am well chuffed. Just need to crack on with the full respray now i know its sound.

Yeah it was a bit tight in the van ha ha. Well today I managed to sort Afew bits out on car I had it 4 wheel aligned at work fixed the exhaust is it was catching on wheel well new, adjusted wheel bearings took it for a drive and clutch went so back off road again lol will post some pics up soon.

Yeah gonna get it fully re sprayed. Just getting insurance sorted 110 for the year. Only problem is tax just went to check price and it said vehicle is unlicenced since 1997 even though it has been sorn when I got it in 2010

If it had been on 'SORN' when you bought it, the SORN gets removed when you transfer ownership, its then up to you to re-declare it!

Pain in the feckin **** as they dont tell you this, it is not written anywhere, and you end up liable for fines, i know as this happened to me with my current nova :cry:

yeah when I got the car in 2010 I declared it sorn but didn't know I had to do it every year. What kind of fine will I be looking at ?

I done the same but more forgot all about it and when I sorned it again they said they might be in contact but still nothing a month later

The fine will be all the tax that hasnt been paid in the time you havent sorned it (only during your ownership) if I understand the rules correctly!
