Lelystad "Old timers show" 19 June 2013 photos

Vast display of cars from 1920's to 1960's and also boats / trucks/ steam / prams ! / autojumble etc etc along the waterfront with free entry.
Old british classics Vauxhall / MG/ Triumph / Aston Martin / Jaguar/ Morris all very well represented (all on NL plates) Also the expected Mercedes/ Ferrari/ citreon/ DAF car and trucks etc etc A few random photographs of the many taken, including UK cars of a bygone era. Yeah! It was good to meet up with you at the show. :thumb: Please feel free to visit us again next year and taste some good old Dutch hospitality.

It was an excellent day out, the weather was awesome (bit windy though) so much that my face took on the colour of a very ripe tomato. :cool:

There's more info about the oldtimershow Lelystad here (http://www.oldtimerdaglelystad.nl) but it's in Dutch only I'm afraid. Never mind that, all you need to know is it's held at Father's day every year and there's always tons of cars and other vintage gear on display. So if you feel like coming over to sunny Lelystad in the Netherlands, please do. :)

It was good to meet you also.
I was suprised there there were no vehicles with UK plates either in the car park or on show.
If there were any similar shows next year where the standard was not so high with newer cars we could bring the Nova !
