View Full Version : Lowered 60mm - catching on front arches on lock!?

Had many lowered Novas over the years, but this one is new on me.

Current Nova is lowered 60mm on GMAX VA Sports Dampers. However, on lock the NSF wheel scrubs on the lip of the wheelarch on the front wing, more so when cornering hard. Occasionally it catches the OSF too.

I cant remember whether I have fitted bump stops in the past, but they are not fitted here and I have fitted new springs to ensure the old ones were not weak.

Any ideas? See photo - it does sit low at the front!! Usually its the rear wheels that catch the arch - not in this case!

185 60 14 - always used this size in the past without issue. Previous SR ran 185 65 14 without issue.

When did you lower it?

Probably 8 months ago, it has been like it since it was lowered (but I rarely use the car)
