23 years after the last one was produced? I very much doubt they all have their badges still no!

If you want confirmation it's a genuine SR I would say ask the seller to send you a pic of the V5.

The badges only clipped into the grills, most were stolen so if its actually got a badge then you've probably found something that "maybe" an SR, as the above though only a proper a check will answers the question.

All mk1 novas did originally have the 'SR' badge, the later mk2 variant, did not!

sorry to butt in but on the same sort of theme my new vinyl kit has a griffin for my bonnet which i dont think is actually meant for it , any ideas on what models had the griffin on the front of the bonnet ?

All mk1's had a vinyl griffin. Then for the Mk2, they all got the badge iirc mate.

Nice one, didnt think it would look right being just above the plastic griifin badge in the grille but guesse i should fit it then ?

What model is the vinyl for, as the SR had the griffin on the bonnet where the round badge would be on a mk2, but if its a GTE, then it goes on the bootlid above the grab handle:thumb:

It's an sr so yeah on the bonnet but handy it's not a gte because I wouldn't of known and as for buying them I bought a whole sr set from e bay

Early SR models with a snowplough (ie yours) didn't have a griffin on the bonnet because it was in the middle of the grille.

Only mk1 (b) SRs (ie non snowplough ones) had vinyl griffin on the bonnet and an SR badge on the grille.
