Sorry Houghton-Le-Spring, was driving back out to the A690 after going to LWC to pick some empty kegs up and satnav sent me down a back road that brings you out right on the 690 (handy) was doing about 40 behind a couple of cars when one stood on the brakes because a tractor was coming the other way 0_o had a choice of tractor, golf or curb to slow me down as the brakes are sh!t on the van, choose curb and surprisingly me and the van live to tell the tale.

Think I scared the sh!t out of the tractor driver though lol

Mowgli, a recovery truck would go faster and stop better even with the Crafter on the back of it! Awful van, LDV Maxus was 10X better!

Fitting rear brakes to the E34, old ones were a touch dead :p Absolute pain to fit until I realised the slider bolts have to come out on these to fit the pads, complete doddle after that and I'll probably fit brakes the same way in future!

Proper nailbiter!! Better than yesterdays one horse race! Silverwood might as well have come on pitch in Warrington kit the bellend but was so glad Hull managed to hold onto a well deserved win :)

we used to have a 5150plus.... it was the strongest built machine we ever owned.. the abuse it took was incredible... one lad used to enjoy sticking it in neutral on hills & regularly managed 60+mph with loaded trailers on.. he did admit it skipped about a bit when he tried to get it back into gear afterwards!!!! lol, we traded it in for a mcCormick mtx140 with a perkins lump in... largest pile of excrement ever to be thrown together in the doncaster works... we actually bought 2 & traded them for JD6920s, taking a massive financial hit in the process... they were so crap, my brother actually went out & bought an old ford 7710 to use when one broke down. it was used 5 days a week.

Case build a good tractor in my opinion, alot of people say the case quadtrac's run rings around the equivalent claas/cat challenger & i still keep saying my boss should of bought a magnum rather than that scrappy french ferguson! We had a TG285 before that ferguson which had a 6pot perkins in it which loved doing the crank shaft seal :tard:

When i was first at the farm when i left school we had a 7710, i hated it! they had a 4600 and 5000 too but luckily they got rid of the 4600 and the 5000 is due to leave soon, hateful things!

Edit: i should point out we had the largest size magnum they make on demo once, and it absolutely destroyed our mole drainer which may be partly why he didnt get one lol lol lol

a 5000 was the 1st tractor i drove... they were amazingly advanced in their time.. we have a 1968 (never actually been registered) 3000, and we fight over who is driving it... its the sort of tractor, like a 35/135 that makes you just grin like the cheshire cat when you drive it.

It is great isn't it. Been there and still doing it.
Have gutted and redone the bathroom, kitchen, conservatory, dining room, living room & currently doing the hall, stairs & landing. Oh and built a garage workshop!
Just the bedroooms to do properly now as we just decorated them when we moved in.
Been ripping all the plaster off the wall and the dust is horrendous. I have been taping the doors up but it still gets everywhere!
Plasterer has just finished and it looks great but everywhere is a right mess and still got loads of jobs to do. New architraves, skirting boards, wood floor, carpet, radiators, bannister, hand rail, plug sockets & light switches. then got to paint.
Will be worth it in the end. Then we will move and start again lol

Hero3 (white kit) picked it up from the London Camera Exchange, £159. Got a window mount for £29.99 and its the new better one, got a bag of arms and bits on ebay, and tripod attachment, made a cool vid with it on my monopole.... Is ace.

Why dont you just wet and dry it with a block? Then wrap the block in a cloth with polish on it to finish it.
No need for any fiddly masking then.
