Hey all.

Just wondering if anyone remembers a nova breakers in Wolverhampton in the 90s
The guys name was Ralph and he started breaking novas in Bilston and then moved to darliston Wolverhampton
I used to be there most evenings and weekends helping out :)
Just wondered if he was still about or not.

this rings a bell...back in the 90's i bought a brown sr interior from a bloke somewhere down the black country route....he had a unit full of novas that i thought were a bit too good to break lol lol.... he used to advertise in the auto-trader, and the only other thing i can remember was that he's black.

That's him yeah :) he was black.
His brother run a learner driving company aswell.
Wonder if he is still in the car business.
He used to buy salvage novas but because he was breaking novas people would just offer him novas cheap.
I saw my first nova sport at his unit :)

ralph is about the whitest name ever.... i did remember being surprised when i met him... round our way, black blokes all spoke with the fake american/jamaican accent, so to find a black bloke called ralph with a proper yom yom accent was a shock... i also remember getting few polished fingernails cos he was running a 9" grinder with no guard & a 12" flat stihl saw disc in it & i borrowed it to get the middle bracket out...

Hahaha yeah I remember the grinder, he cut himself with it when a disk exploded lol
He was a decent guy!
I'm used to black blokes speaking blackcountry hahaha

The last Nova I saw here was one I sold them in about 2008. They never have any in. Mostly Corsa C's & Astra Mk4/5s (I drive past it every day on way to work)

The only decent breaker around that way is/was mrtwos (MR2/import breaker).

I bought a master cylinder that came today but turned out to be the wrong part.
So I look on eBay and see someone local selling one in a bulk lot of things.
So I messaged him asking if he would split and if I could pick it up.
He says yes,,,
So off I go, he opens his door and my eyes nearly popped out my head!!!
It's Ralph lmfao no fecking way hahaha
He was just as shocked as I was! Hand shake and man hug and then we chat about Novas lol

Who would of thought after 20 years I would be buying a nova part off a guy I used to help break them lol

Buzzin!
