Speedo cable

So 2 days after putting in my 6 dial clocks my speedo cable has snapped, is this a usual thing or not?
Should I just get a speedo cable for a Sri/gsi?

all speedo cables are the same. so you have not got it running straight

As above, you need to move the cable over past the bracket for the steering column, otherwise the routing is too harsh and it snaps, theyre all the same and should be available from your local factors, i got a couple for mine from work when i first started there lol
