Hi, I'm looking to get a nova with a 1.6 8v engine or convert one myself. After looking about they seem pretty quick and considering my insurance on my 1.0 ax is more expensive, how much would I be looking at for one? Don't mind a bit of a project either! Any help would be good.
Thanks adam
It will always cost less to insure one with the 1600 8v fitted as standard, compared to a convesion.
Remember that mate.
How much do the insurance want for covering your AX with VTS engine, out of curiousity?

Didn't think of that, what I did when checking Insurance I just put modified engine and non standard. I think for a vtr conversion it was something like 4 grand so I'm guessing vts would be more?

You may find better quotes if you ring round specialist insurers...from personal experience Graham Sykes may be worth a call :thumb:
