you can tax a car up to 2 days before a licence is due to start if its a new tax and no renewal.

up to 2 working days: a working day includes a saturday, so

monday = 1st sept

2morro = 2 working days b4 the new month, now get ur arse down that post office ;)

"If there has been a break in licensing of a month or more, we cannot issue you with a licence more than two working days before it is due to start. A licence comes into force on the day it is issued."
