Well right at the top of my list would have to be a skyline r34 gtr,But this thread doesn't have to be your favourite just something not of the normal etc.

I'll get the ball rolling, seen this bad boy for sale and I want it!

I absolutely love american muscle cars & had a hard time narrowing it down to just those two, probably for sheer speed it would have to be the 911 turbo i drove last year (thats me with the the big grin just getting into it) i also drove an audi R8 & DB9 volante that day but the porsche would be my lottery win first purchase :)

McLaren F1 is my unrealistic dream car, TVR Sagaris is a semi realistic dream car, might be 20 years time when they're **** and out dated but still, Toyota Supra is my realistic dream car big power single turbo beasty.

Something to scare myself...

And realistically, or at least realistic once I find a graduate job, my current ideal garage is the Nova track car built and finished, E34 535 to turbo whenever I fancy and an FZR 400 for cheap easy commuting with a bit of go :)

Being realistic, I fancy something offroad like a Land Rover Defender 90 or a proper Range Rover, not a RR Sport.

lol

My mate is making more moves than me! He's in Tokyo right now on a holiday/Hako fact finding mission.

They're not as expensive as you would first believe. You can get a decent, boggo GTX, landed in the UK for about £16K.
It has 'surfline' rear arches though - like a Nova, and a not so great L20 2.0 straight 6.

It is much cheaper to turn it into a clone over here though. The duckbill and ducktail, arch flares and badges can be had for decent money, too.

Or, I would be quite happy with a yellow Evo Integrale, RS200 Evo or F40. lol

Lotus Carlton and a DeLorean. Both tuned and modified slightly, then I'll be a very happy man.
I will own both of them at some point in my life.

e28 M535i.

Buy one ASAP!!!!

I think it's easy to pick up on the odd ridiculously priced one unless you look at them consistently... If you asked me to price a mint mk1 escort I'd say 12-14k because I've seen a couple at that price before, chances are they're actually a bit cheaper though. I've been keeping up with prices on the E34 with the same engine and they obviously pop up in all the 535 searches.

Plus I think they're pretty so I always tick the <88 year boxes on ebay lol

My mum had an E28 525e, loved it, before that she had a E21 323 and the E28 was replaced with a E30 325i

She had good taste :)

Have to agree with MK on the prices, you do see alot of them forsale a £5k and beyond, but I doubt they are selling for that unless they are minty mcmint. I think a decent usable car could be had for £2000 ish. I just love the look of them. Pity they rust like fook too.

Ironically she didn't like the M535, a family accross the back from us had a silver one and she just didn't like the style or wheels on it.

Each to their own :)

^ my dads got a 535 nice comfy car and makes a nice noise, not a fan of the wheels on it at all though.

That's a car I wouldn't mind^ Mk4, the GSi Turbo like. Aswell as a few other things, RX7, Supra Turbo, R34 V-Spec II, Evo 3/4/5/6 & 7, Impreza Type RA etc etc

What does an escos go like? Always loved them but heard a few times that standard they are a bit meh.

In all honesty, standard for standard an Astra GTE felt faster lol from a standing start they properly shift for a miniscule 227hp though.

A few years back I got to drive a GrpA tarmac Escos, that really was a properly capable car. The difference between highly modified & standard was like night & day.

That's the way to buy em! M1ngebag motoring/Bangernomics/Autosh1te... call it what you want, I call it a bargain.

The MG6 is a nice depreciator. Can bag a year old one for about £7.5K so they say.
Was about 10 grand more, when new. lol

MK999

E34's are fantastic for the money they ask tbh, well designed/built/equipped but just about too old for niggly modern car issues.

535 is a fantastic engine, designed in the 60's, chain timed, tappet adjusted fcuk all compression... bombproof.

There is nothing nice about an mg6, even if a one year old car was £100 I'd still rather walk barefoot over broken glass lol

I agree. I dislike them hugely.
I have only seen a couple, and they have only sold around 300 afaik.

I'm just a fan of horrific, early years depreciation. lol

Realistically, '69 coupe

Very slightly less realistically, a 1970 challenger - guy local to me just bought a green '70 WSS. Nom

http://image.popularhotrodding.com/f/14219036/0902phr_07_z+1970_dodge_challenger+side_view.jpg

If we're talking realms of fantasy though, a 1969 Super Bee or GTX. Or AAR 'cuda. Or an R/T Challenger.

My father in law has an Avensis and it does not seem to wear out, admittedly it has only done 40 odd thousand miles but it is still like new inside and out. Jap stuff may not be the most exciting but they are screwed togther well and last.

a 2 door ascona would be nice.....
preferrably a 400.... in white.. utter car porn for me...

a touran with r32 running gear would suffice as a daily.....

i'd really quite like to recreate my previous nova, parchment beige 3dr, a reg, snowplough, brown sr interior, sr rear spoiler, debadged with my 6j 14 '5 spoke' opel steelies & at least an e16se in it... i had it for ages & i still miss it... oh, and i had it like that long before retro was cool

Toyota reliabilty lol I did have one as a works hack a few years back, hence considering one now. VWs are too meh, she doesn't want a BMW, Lexus are a bit too ££, and Vauxhalls are, well, Vauxhalls lol

Did look at one today which was nice. Bodywork wasn't great but mechanically it was spot on.

another point ot ponder....the next door neighbour (a woman) gets visited regularly by a bloke who drives an avensis......so even when you are 60 odd, you'll be able to attract women in it... lol
