Some of you might be aware that I have fitted a Audi tt engine to my nova and I'm very close (few days work) to get it running and I'm looking at people/company's to map it, has anyone got an good experiences or suggestions I'm from South Wales so don't really want to travel miles and miles!

Seems as its a VAG engine possibly AWESOME GTI in Manchester? Quite far from South Wales though

Most of the vag specialists are plug and play. Just upload maps to standard ecus. Probably better trying to find a dta specialist

Badger 5 seams pretty clued up on the 20vt might be worth calling them and seeing what they say

Yeah try to find somewhere that knows your DTA above all else.

Again a vote to someone who knows your ECU, no point taking it to a VAG specialist if they know fcuk all about DTA

As Will says you wont go far wrong with Dave Young @ Mek motorsport in Cheltenham.

He only books 1 car in per day so has plenty of time to get it right.

Ant@indigoGT in tredegar, does a lot with the evo's, skylines and scoobies, but started doing a lot more on the vag engines too, one of top traders on mlr and iirc got best trader on year too. Worth a try?

3rd vote for Dave at Mek, he's your guy imo, you won't regret it.

Dave Young, Dave Young! Dave Young! LolI think Kris's only slight reservation with Dave is that the last time we went there with Gary's 400 bhp let, he actually said "I don't do much with these turbo things" lol
He still did a sterling job and also did another of our fiend's lets shortly after...

He mapped my friends Xe on DTA, and setup my Xe on 45's. He is essentially an old school tuner, but also very competent with an ECU.

Omex is his prefference though, which is the only reason i went with it on my new build.

Id be going to m-tech. They know their stuff with the dta management and i know chip rates them highly too.

In all fairness though he has to really. :)

Tbh craig i dont think chips the sort of guy that would big anyone up who didnt deserve it. Or that he`d be involved with people who didnt know what they were doing either. Without kissing chips **** too much i dont think we can deny that chip knows his stuff with mapping ect.

Yes of course. Im saying he rents their rollers for his own private jobs, so would be foolish to say they were crap.
